CWB regrouped, with three of the original members and a new member from a former peer band of the ‘80’s, to sustain the continuity of their 32 year existence.
After this regrouping they have managed to regain their status in the local industry and are currently promoting their first EP entitled “Don’t Ya Call Me”.
One of their recent accomplishments occurred on 9/11/2010 when they participated and sponsored the 2nd Annual “American Hero Music Festival”, held in Beaver Dam at Swan Park. They have also been invited back to the 3rd Annual “American Hero Music Festival” to be held on 9/10/2011. These events are filmed and will be used to create a documentary which will air on PBS in Milwaukee and Madison, WI. A copy of the documentary will also be sent to the Pentagon because of an inquiry on their part about the event.
CWB has also appeared on “Urban Theater” in June 2011. “Urban Theater” appears on a Madison, WI based TV station and also does a webcast.
Work is currently being done on their second CD, which is expected to be a compilation of original songs, enough to be considered a full CD, rather than a 4 song EP like the “Don’t Ya Call Me” disc.
CWB’s goal is to perform their music for the world and continue to create new music along the way.
